KSUT welcomes Oklahoma musician & songwriter Carter Sampson for in-studio session Friday at 1:30 PM

KSUT will host Oklahoma born and raised, award-winning musician and songwriter Carter Sampson for a live in-studio session with Susie B, Friday, January 21 at 1:30 PM. Sampson will be stopping by the Smiley Cafe in Durango at 7 PM for an intimate evening Pop-Up performance as part of the "Live @ The Smiley Cafe" music series, presented by the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College.

Sampson tours nationally and internationally playing both solo and with her band. She won 1st place in the Chris Austin Song Contest at Merlefest and was a top 10 finalist in the Telluride Bluegrass Festival Troubadour Contest and Rocky Mountain Folks Fest Songwriter Showcase. Sampson has released five studio albums including her newest release Lucky. Sampson is also the founder and director of The Rock n’ Roll Camp for Girls OKC, a nonprofit volunteer run organization that empowers girls through music education.
