Tune-in for virtual live session with Pagosa Folk 'N Bluegrass artist Sarah Shook

Sarah Shook and the Disarmers will perform at KSUT's 15th Annual Pagosa Folk 'N Bluegrass, June 10-12, 2022.

We're looking forward to having Sarah Shook and the Disarmers perform at the 15th Annual Pagosa Folk 'N Bluegrass, June 10-12, 2022 on Reservoir Hill. As a preview, Sarah will join Chris Aaland solo for a virtual live KSUT Session Thursday, June 2, at 11:30 AM.

The honky-tonk country-punk outfit Sarah Shook and the Disarmers have just released their new album Nightroamer, featuring songs which are biographical for Sarah. In a recent NPR interview, they explained, "I am a night person, for one thing. It's when I do my best thinking. It's when I'm at my most creative. But I think that "Nightroamer" also has this promise of going against the grain in an attempt to find something."

Shook is non-binary, active in LGBTQ advocacy and observing first hand how country music is gradually becoming more inclusive.

Sarah Shook and the Disarmers will perform at the 15th Annual Pagosa Folk 'N Bluegrass, June 10-12, 2022.
