The Southern Ute Indian Tribe has confirmed that a variant of COVID-19 has been found on Tribal lands after sequencing the laboratory sample from an individual who recently died. KSUT’s Sarah Flower spoke with Liane Jollon from San Juan Basin Public Health about what this confirmed case means locally in fighting the pandemic.
