Longtime station favorite returns for a mesmerizing studio set.

Award-winning multi-instrumentalist Tony Furtado stopped by the KSUT studios on January 15 for a live performance and interview.

Hours later, he took the stage with his band at Durango's Animas City Theatre.

Furtado was touring in support of his 17th album, The Bell.

A KSUT favorite, Furtado has played live in our studios several times before, and even appears on one of KSUT's studio performance CDs, Roots & Rhythms.

Session notes:
Tony Furtado recorded live on KSUT, January 15 2015.
Interviewer: Stasia Lanier
Live Mix Engineer: Mark Duggan
Post-Production Engineer: Mark Duggan

A technical note: KSUT Sessions were initially mixed for live broadcast and 'captured' by recording equipment. Post-production sometimes revealed deficiencies unique to the recording. Efforts were taken to reduce such deficiencies, but some are still audible.
