Fifty Years of 'Rubber Soul'

KSUT celebrates the anniversary of the release of one of pop music's most influential albums with a one-hour special this Thursday at noon.

On December 3, 1965, The Beatles released one of their most influential albums. Rubber Soul marked a profound change in the band's direction.

This Thursday at noon, we'll mark the 50th anniversary of the album's with Isn't It Good: 50 Years of Rubber Soul.

More than a dozen musicians, music writers and Beatles fans comment on the significance of the album, and its place in music history.

The list of contributors includes Anthony DeCurtis of Rolling Stone magazine, NPR's Ann Powers, and musicians Shawn Colvin and Peter Mulvey.
