KSUT & the Henry Strater Theatre are pleased to announce the return of singer songwriter Tony Furtado on Wednesday, February 7th, 2018 with his trio.
Very few musicians of any stripe so personify a musical genre as completely as Tony Furtado embodies Americana roots music. He is an evocative and soulful singer, a wide-ranging songwriter, and a virtuoso multi-instrumentalist, adept on banjo, cello-banjo, slide guitar, and baritone ukulele who mixes and matches sounds and styles like bluegrass, blues, folk, country, and rock with the flair of a master chef. Tony's albums like "Roll My Blues Away" (1997), "American Gypsy" (2002), and most recently, "The Bell" (2015), are staples on KSUT's Music Blend.
Tickets cost $27 in advance and $32 day-of-show (which includes a $2 per ticket service charge to offset credit card and web hosting fees).
