Fort Lewis College in Durango was on a security lockdown Wednesday afternoon. Students, staff, and faculty were instructed to shelter-in-place.

Campus law enforcement later announced that two individuals connected to unspecified threats against the school were in custody. The lockdown was lifted after about three hours.

It disrupted finals week at the school, but officials are already working on rescheduling exams. An investigation into the threats is underway. KSUT will provide updates as they are made available.
