Hear classical performances by famous artists from concert halls around the world, Sundays at 7:00 p.m.

Our Sunday evening programming lineup changes this Sunday (October 16) with the debut of Performance Today Weekend, from American Public Media.

We'll air the program from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Performance Today Weekend's guest list reads like a Who's Who of classical music: the Vienna Philharmonic, the Berlin Philharmonic, the New York Philharmonic, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Cleveland Orchestra, the Philadelphia Orchestra, Yo Yo Ma, Gil Shaham, Midori, Itzhak Perlman, Pierre Boulez, John Adams, John Tavener, Placido Domingo, Renee Fleming, Cecelia Bartoli, the Emerson Quartet, the Eroica Trio, Lorin Maazel, and many more.

Performance Today Weekend also showcases young American soloists, as part of their Young Artists in Residence feature.

Fred Child hosts the program. Child is also the commentator and announcer for the performing arts program Live From Lincoln Center.
