KSUT adapts operations, programming for COVID-19

John Fitzpatrick

As we adjust to the uncertainty of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and its effect on our daily lives, the health and well-being of KSUT employees and our community remains a top priority.

Because of this, we're temporarily reducing our staffing to essential personnel for programming and operations, while others work from home, to comply with social distancing recommendations. The KSUT offices are currently closed to the public, but you can reach staff by email, or phone at 970-563-0255.

Protecting the essential service we provide as a public media station also remains a priority, and we hope to avoid any major changes. Beginning Wednesday, March 25, reduced station staff goes into effect, with two small programming changes. A second hour of NPR's mid-day news magazine 'Here and Now' will be added at 1 PM weekdays, reducing the Afternoon Blend by one hour. We're also now carrying 'Coronavirus - A Weekly Report from NPR news' on Sunday morning at 11, pre-empting Radiolab. Additional modifications are possible as needed.

Community is at the heart of everything we do at KSUT, and we remain committed to supporting the communities we serve. We're in this together, and together we'll prevail and emerge stronger from this unprecedented experience.
