Jaynes selected as KSUT's new building contractor

KSUT is pleased to announce that Jaynes Corporation has been selected to be the general contractor for KSUT's new home. Jaynes was an early supporter of the KSUT Capital Campaign and has a reputation as an experienced contractor, having worked on numerous high-profile projects in our region. Jaynes will begin work in mid-to-late July, with a four-and-a-half month timeline for the complete renovation of the existing 5,000 square foot building that will become our new home. KSUT will then spend about six weeks installing all of the broadcast equipment, with an early 2020 projected move-in date.

"We here at Jaynes are excited and proud to be the chosen builder for your office remodel," said Bill Florez, executive vice president of Jaynes. "KSUT is a favorite with a lot of our employees and everyone here is ready to begin the work. It is good to be back in Ignacio making new friends and reestablishing old friendships with the Southern Ute Indian Tribe. Thank you so much for this opportunity, as we are all anticipating a wonderful experience."

KSUT is also pleased to announce that we're working with Solar Barn Raising, a local 501c3 organization, to install a 30Kw roof-mounted solar system.

Thanks again to everyone who contributed financially to support KSUT's future. We are still accepting tax-deductible donations to the Capital Campaign. You can pledge online or call (970) 563-5780.
