Iron Horse Singers "Horsing Around" Tribal Radio's Friday Featured CD, August 31

Started in May 2010 and originally known as the Iron Horse Trio. Iron Horse has been recruiting additional singers and traveling to many Powwows throughout Indian Country.  Representing the Tribes of the Northwest Region, including Swinomish, Warmsprings, Spokane, Coville, Yakama, Cree, Flathead and even Navajo,  this unique blend of singers has become well known for their powerful singing and drumming.  Their debut album "Horsing Around" includes 14 tracks recorded Live at Muckleshoot Powwow.  For a copy of this and other recordings visit the Bear Tracks Label at www.beartraks.net

Sheila has hosted the native Morning Show on KSUT Tribal Radio since 2000. In 2006 she also became co-host of Feeding the Spirit, a prgram focused on Native American health issues. In 2009, Sheila was hired by KSUT as the administration director intern and shortly thereafter became the director of Tribal Radio. She is currently one of KSUT's Executive Directors on the management team.
