Susan Banes A.K.A. 'Susie B.'

Susan Banes, known on air as Susie B., hosts the Friday afternoon Music Blend on KSUT.

Susie B. relocated to the Durango area from Tucson in May of 2015.

She brings more than 23 years of on-air and production experience, having produced music and news shows at KXCI/Tucson.

From 1992-2011, Susie produced Broad Perspectives Radio, a live interview and public affairs program by, for, and about women. It afforded her the opportunity to interview hundreds of national and local artists, activists and community stakeholders.

She also hosted KXCI's Friday Music Mix for more than 23 years.

Susie B. is passionate about listener-supported radio and believes it is an integral part of a vibrant, healthy, art-interested and connected community.

When not on KSUT, Susie owns and operates several small businesses, including a not-for-profit finance and administrative consulting service.
