Chris Aaland
Development Director, "Tales of the New West" HostChris Aaland is the Development Director at KSUT Public Radio. He also hosts the Monday Afternoon Blend and the Wednesday evening specialty show Tales of the New West.
Chris spent the past two years as KSUT’s Membership Manager. Prior to that, he served at Fort Lewis College for 21 years, in roles such as Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Fund, Director of Communications and Publications, and Assistant Director of Athletics for Communications.
He was a volunteer DJ at Fort Lewis College station KDUR for nearly 20 years, hosting that station’s popular Cask Strength program. He also served two stints on the KDUR Board of Directors.
Chris currently serves on the Board of Directors for Durango Acoustic Music, a Colorado nonprofit organization that has presented concerts in Durango and surrounding communities since 1990.
