Why KSUT is Off the Air in Montezuma County

antenna.JPG

KSUT's longtime on-air service to our Montezuma County listeners has been terminated by the Southwest Colorado Television Translator Association.

The Southwest Colorado Television Translator Association's action means that two of KSUT's signals have been taken off the air. They include the main Montezuma County signal at 100.1 FM, and the Dolores signal at 91.9 FM. Our other signals are not affected.

The Board of Directors of the Southwest Colorado Television Translator Association issued the following statement:

“In order to not have an appearance of conflict with a local station carrying duplicate programming,
SW CO TV feels we can no longer carry KSUT on our translator system. Thank you to KSUT for providing programming to our broadcast area for our time of association.”

KSUT is working to find other transmitter sites and frequencies in Montezuma County as soon as possible. We'll post updates here and on our Facebook and Twitter feeds.

Listeners can still hear KSUT online almost anywhere, using your mobile device.

We appreciate your understanding.
