The Retro Cocktail Hour Comes to KSUT

The Retro Cocktail Hour/Kansas Public Radio

Hear vintage recordings from the dawn of the Hi-Fi Era, Thursday nights at 9. Host Darrell Brogdon broadcasts from the Underground Martini Bunker, presenting pop stylings perfect for everything from the backyard party to the high-tech bachelor pad.

The music is “shaken, not stirred,” each week on The Retro Cocktail Hour.

Hear lounge legends like Frank Sinatra and Juan Esquivel; tiki gods Martin Denny and Les Baxter; swinging cocktail combos featuring The Three Suns and Jack "Mr. Bongo" Costanzo; and mambo king Perez Prado.

The Retro Cocktail Houris now on Thursday evenings at 9:00 p.m. It's the perfect follow-up to the Ike's America Radio Program.

Sounds From the Mother Road, meanwhile, moves to Wednesday nights at 9.
