First Presidential Debate Tonight on KSUT
Candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump face off for the first of three debates. NPR News has complete coverage, analysis, and fact-checking.
After more than a year-and-a-half of campaigning, Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump meet face to face tonight at 7:00 p.m. MDT at New York's Hofstra University.
KSUT will air the debate in its entirety. A Celtic Journey is preempted. Thistle & Shamrock will air at 9:00 p.m. tonight.
Tonight's debate will have six individual segments of about 15 minutes each, covering topics selected by moderator Lester Holt of NBC News.
Holt will open each segment with a question, giving each candidate two minutes to respond. Clinton and Trump will then have an opportunity to respond to each other. Holt will use the rest of the time in the segment for a deeper discussion of topics.
KSUT will air NPR coverage of all of the presidential debates, without interruption. Host Robert Siegel will be joined by NPR News reporters to analyze and fact-check both candidates.
