The GOP-leaning district spans Colorado’s Western Slope and stretches into Pueblo and southeastern Colorado. U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert, a Republican, currently represents the district, but moved to Windsor and is running this year to represent the 4th Congressional District.

The winner of the GOP primary will face Democrat Adam Frisch, a former Aspen city councilman who lost to Boebert by 546 votes in 2022, in the Nov. 5 general election, as well as candidates from the Libertarian and United Party.
