Music in the Mountains hosts a FREE Mobile Stage Community Concert series and at 11AM on Thursday, July 10th, the Zelter String Quartet performs at Cottonwood Park, adjacent to the Animas Valley Elementary school.
Our mobile stage is designed to deliver free world-class classical music concerts throughout the region. To get to Cottonwood Park, simply go to Animas Valley Elementary, then look for our volunteers to direct you!
What You Should Know About our Mobile Stage Concerts:-Shows run approximately 45 minutes.-In case of bad weather, individual events will be canceled and not rescheduled.-There are no restrooms or concessions. You may bring your own chairs, blankets, food and non-alcoholic beverages. –Schedule is subject to change. Please check our website and social media for any last minute updates.-No reservations are necessary. Just show up!
We'll read a story from a different country each week! Enjoy a storytime and a craft, and then stay after to play and meet other families! All ages welcome!

Let's get creative! This hands-on series features weekly workshops, creative challenges, and interactive projects that spark curiosity and innovation. Come explore, create, and connect with fellow teen innovators!
Local musicians of all abilities and instruments (including voice!) are welcome to join us every second Thursday of the month! We share our songs and love of music of all kinds. Please bring your instrument and a few copies of what you want to play and share. We usually go around the circle and each person shares a song with others joining in. Do not be intimidated; we truly are of all ability levels!
