KSUT Spring 2016 Programming Changes

We welcome the Ike's America Radio Program to Thursday nights, and move Saturday afternoon music programming up by one hour.

KSUT is making a few changes to our programming lineup, effective Thursday, June 2. The changes affect Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons.

Thursdays, we're proud to welcome The Ike's America Radio Program to our lineup from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. It will air immediately after our bluegrass show The Grass is Bluer.

Ike’s America celebrates the music of the Greatest Generation. Host Ted Holteen opens up the Great American Songbook for a nostalgic look back at the Big Bands, iconic songwriters and unforgettable voices of the 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s. It was timeless music made during America’s greatest times of change and is still revered more than a half-century later.

The first edition of Ike's America airs Thursday June 2 at 8:00 p.m.

To make room for Ike's America, E-Town will move to Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m., just before A Prairie Home Companion. Live From the Divide will take a break from our airwaves, but return on occasion.

On Saturdays, we're starting music programming an hour earlier by moving American Routes to 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. E-Town, as mentioned previously, will air at 3:00 p.m. The storytelling show Snap Judgment is being dropped.

As always, we know that programming changes make some people happy, and disappoint others. We appreciate your feedback as we continue to our mission to bring you the best in pubic radio programming for the Four Corners. Drop us a line at feedback@ksut.org to let yourself be heard.
