KSUT Hosts

The KSUT family includes many distinct and memorable voices. Meet the local hosts who entertain and educate our listeners each day of the week.

Jim Belcher

Morning Blend Host
Jim is KSUT's newest host, starting his radio career in recent months. He's a well known musician and bass player in the Four Corners where he performs with several different bands and does session work. Jim and his wife Teri moved to Durango from Florida 14 years ago where he was active in the live music scene. A public radio devotee and serious music fan, Jim was a natural choice to join KSUT's music programming team. While he misses the ocean, Jim finds plenty of outdoor adventure in the mountains of southwest Colorado and the Utah desert. He's also a landscaper, amateur photographer, a fine singer and he plays the mandolin. Tune-in for Jim's blend Friday morning from 9 to noon.

Eddie Box, Jr.

Host of Klub KSUT, President KUTE, Inc
Eddie Box, Jr. is one of the founding members of KSUT and remains President of the station's Board of Directors thirty years later. A Southern Ute Tribal member, he, along with a group of others started the station as a source for communication among their membership. Today, KSUT has come a long way, and serves a broad region with two stations and a diverse programming lineup. Eddie remains at the helm and is an ambassador for KSUT. One of the station's few volunteer hosts, Eddie spins a varietal mix every Wednesday at noon. A fan of music of all genres, his personal music library is likely larger than KSUT's.
